Starring Robert De Niro and Joe Pesci, Casino is the based on a true story of a Las Vegas casino which is mafia run headed by sports bookie Sam Rothstein (De Niro). In the same vein as Goodfellas, Casino is a fantastic gangster movie with supporing roles filled by the likes of Sharon Stone, James Woods and Don Rickles.

The Casino movie is a superb film if you like the mafia genre. If you loved Goodfellas, if you love the work of De Niro, if you see it from Amazon for £3 definitely give it a go.

Carlitos Way

Carlito's Way stars Al Pacino as an ex-drug lord who leaves prison with help from his lawyer Kleinfeld played by a very Jewie looking Sean Penn and begins a battle to escape from his violent past in crime and make an attempt at life in paradise.

The Carlito's Way movie is an excellent picture that tells a superb story, similar to the vein of Scarface this is easily one of Al Pacinos better cinematic efforts.

Beavis and Butthead Do America

Beavis and Butthead Do America was the big budget cinema release of the popular nineties MTV show Beavis and Butthead. Opening weekend of the release starring Bruce Willis and Demi moore saw the film open at number one at the US box office.

The Beavis and Butthead Do America DVD comes with some excellent extras such as the commentary by Mike Judge.

Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy

The Anchorman movie starring Will Ferrell was a decent 2004 movie release which boasts some fine Anchorman DVD extras if you opt to buy the Anchorman: Special Edition DVD. Wake Up, Ron Burgundy: The Lost Movie is included and is a collaboration of footage shot for the original picture which, using pieces from the original film creates, in essence a second installment of the adventures of the Channel 4 news team.

A sequel to Anchorman The Legend of Ron Burgundy, at the time of writing was in pre-production for Anchorman 2, whether it actually comes to fruition we'll all have to wait and see.
